To ensure that each and everyone receives the service their health requires, Warrumbungle Medical Centre have employed the following list of policies. We ask that you please respect these policies when attending this practice and when communicating with our staff.

 

1.  We ask that you limit the number of people that accompany you / you and your child when attending an appointment. Please note:

• Seating is limited in our waiting room area. Furthermore, patients may be exposed to illness.

• 1.5m social distancing is to be maintained.

• One person per 4 square metres rule still applies so please do not move chairs.

• Masks are to be worn when inside the practice. Please ensure you have your own mask upon arrival.

 

2.  Please do not leave children unattended in waiting areas.

 

3.  Please arrive ON TIME for your appointment, not early as seats will not be available.

 

4.  We request that you do not bring food or beverages into our practice. If you need to dispose of rubbish, please ask the receptionist at the front desk.

 

5.  If you are experiencing fever, cough, shortness of breath, gastrointestinal symptoms, are in home quarantine/isolation or awaiting COVID-19 test results, please do not attempt to come to or enter the surgery. Please call to book a phone appointment with one of our GPs.

 

6. Please wear a mask to all appointments and check signage for instructions and updates.

 

7.  Please DO NOT ENTER if you have any respiratory symptoms of any kind.

 

8.  We are not a bulk billing practice. Fees will be incurred for all patients over 18 years and under 75 years.

 

9.  If you cannot attend your appointment, we respectfully request you cancel your appointment with a minimum of 2 hours notice to avoid a cancellation fee. If you do not attend your scheduled appointment without giving the required notice a non-refundable private fee will apply. This fee is not eligible for a Medicare rebate and the full cost will be an out-of-pocket expense.
