Visits to your doctors
Until the extent of the current Coonabarabran Covid-19 cluster is known, we have made the difficult decision to suspend in-person visits at Warrumbungle Medical Centre.
This is for the safety of our patients and our staff.
We hope to resume in-person visits by next week, if it is safe to do so.
Your doctors shall do their best to consult with you over the phone during this period of uncertainty. It may mean some procedures and immunisations are delayed and we apologise for this.
If your doctor determines that an in-person visit is urgent and necessary, arrangements shall be made for review at a suitable location.
The Warrumbungle Medical Centre doctors will continue to participate in their on-call and ward duties at Coonabarabran District Hospital during this time.
Visits to DHM Pathology
Patients who are booked for DHM pathology can still attend but will be screened for symptoms and temperature before being allowed to enter the premises.
If you have a fever or respiratory symptoms, you may be asked to postpone your pathology visit.
We thank you for your understanding and shall be updating these notices later this week.
